Welcome to Scoil Muire Doireglinne, a co-educational, multi-grade, child-centred school located just four miles outside Oughterard, Co. Galway. Nestled among the Connemara mountains, lakes, and rivers, our school offers a safe, inclusive, and creative environment where every child is valued.

Our school day runs from 8:50am to 2:30pm, with a shorter day for Junior Infants ending at 1:30pm. We encourage punctuality to help children settle into their learning routine. We have a dedicated bus service runs daily from Oughterard.
Admissions
Admissions for Junior Infants 2025/26 are now open. Application forms can be collected from the school office or downloaded online. We welcome new families to visit and experience our classrooms.
